NB: 1. Fax, web-browsing, email, and chat require compatible modem. Internal "hardware" modem card or external modem recommended. We have had best results with Rockwell chipsets. "Controller-less", "software", or "Windows-only" generally will not work, even when NDO is run from Windows. 2. Some inkjet and laser printers are "Windows-only". These require Windows to work and are only compatible via Windows. If printer will print a DOS screen without Windows runnign, it will usually be suitable. 3. NewDeal Office 3.2a requires DOS 3.2 or later (MS-DOS or DR DOS), Windows 9x or Me, or OS/2. Some users report success using Windows NT and even Dosemu and Linux, but this may depend on your hardware being compatible. |

Our minimum hardware recommendation is a 286 with 2MB of RAM and 20MB of hard disk space, but it will work in just 1MB of RAM! Ideal for older laptops! |
